Foundational Listening & Speaking

Focus exclusively on listening and speaking skills.
Learn entirely with Pinyin, no Chinese characters (Hanzi) yet.
Reduce the learning curve with Pinyin-only textbooks, board work, and assignments.

Form simple sentences, talk about daily life, and express basic intentions.

Fluency Pre-Intermediate

Transition to Reading & Writing

Begin learning and recognizing Chinese characters (Hanzi).
Gradually reduce reliance on Pinyin to strengthen reading skills.
Develop writing skills step by step at a comfortable pace.
Use textbooks with Pinyin annotations to reinforce vocabulary and pronunciation.
Write unfamiliar characters in Pinyin while building Hanzi proficiency.

Mastery Upper-Intermediate

Advanced Proficiency

Learn in a 100% Chinese immersion environment.
Study with textbooks, board work, and instruction entirely in Chinese.
Develop advanced listening, speaking, reading, and writing proficiency.
Use Thai and English translations in textbooks to reinforce comprehension and review.

Important Notes

Placement test and level assessment policies

Students with a prior background in Chinese are required to take a placement test upon enrollment.
If a student's reading and writing skills are stronger than their listening and speaking skills, the school usually recommends starting from the Express level to bridge the gap.
Once listening and speaking proficiency improve, students will be granted a fast-track option to skip courses that may be repetitive for them.
